Chennai: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Southern Region proposed the formation of the Automotive Sector Group to UNIDO at a meeting organised by the CII along with UNIDO in Chennai.

Mr J N Amrolia, Chairman, International Business Promotion & Networking Task Force, CII - Southern Region, during the interaction mentioned that over 70% of its members are MSMEs and Engineering service providers who are suppliers to the Automotive sectors in the region.
